Bachata Week Cádiz — Immersive Dance Training & Community
A week to grow, connect, and rediscover
why you love bachata.
More than a festival. More than a training camp.

A carefully planned week in Cádiz where dancers from over 50 countries come together to learn, connect and grow.
Spend your days in classes, social dancing, beach sunsets and great conversations that often turn into lasting friendships.
Many people come to become better dancers. Most leave with much more.
Built around three values
Growth
Real progress takes time.
Train over 10 hours with the same teachers and group all week — so you improve faster than at a typical dance festival.
Connection
The best memories are made together.
Sharing the week with the same group builds real friendships, on and off the dance floor.
Community
Dancers from over 50 countries, brought together by a curated application process.
Balanced groups, shared experiences and a welcoming community make the week feel personal from day one.
Most festivals optimise for quantity. We optimise for learning.

Instead of changing groups every hour, you'll stay with the same cohort all week and follow a structured learning journey designed around your level and goals.

Things dancers ask before applying.
We use video applications to understand each participant's current dancing level and learning needs. This allows us to create balanced groups and provide a better learning experience for everyone.
No. Most participants attend on their own. You can apply as an individual or as a couple.
After applying, you'll submit a dance video. We review each application and place participants into groups based on their current strengths, challenges, learning goals, and overall dancing profile.
Not exactly. We don't use traditional labels because they mean different things in different communities. Everyone attending already has a non-beginner level, and placements are based on the video evaluation rather than a title.
Couple Technique: Partnerwork, connection, lead & follow, social dance skills. Body Technique: Individual movement, body control, posture, isolations, and movement quality. Musicality Technique: Understanding music, rhythm, interpretation, and musical expression.
Possibly, depending on availability and balance. Contact us and we'll see what options are available.
A social dance video where we can clearly see your current dancing level. Improvised social dancing is preferred over choreographies.
Yes. We welcome dancers from different bachata backgrounds, including traditional, modern, sensual, and fusion styles.
Group placements are announced closer to the event, after all applications have been reviewed.
No. Participants book their own accommodation. We provide recommendations and opportunities to connect with other attendees.
Yes, but you'll miss part of the programme. We recommend attending the full week to get the most value from the experience.
The first payment (€220) is a non-refundable deposit. If you cannot attend, you simply do not need to pay the remaining balance.
Around 350–400 participants from more than 50 countries.
Yes. The programme includes multiple socials throughout the week, giving participants plenty of opportunities to practice, connect, and dance.
Your main schedule is based on your assigned track, but there are also optional additional classes and intensives that can be booked separately.
No. Wear whatever allows you to dance comfortably and safely.
Most classes are taught in English, although many instructors also speak Spanish and other languages. The event is highly international.
